Southwest Florida Children's Home

You Can Make A Difference In The Life Of A Child

  Foster Their Future

Sibling Groups. Dependent teenagers.

Pregnant teens and babies upon delivery.

They all have suffered,

They all need a loving, Christian home.

Can you help even one?

Foster parents are trained, licensed, caring adults who open their homes to children who desperately need a safe living environment because of adverse circumstances in their families.

Foster parents serve as a substitute family until a more permanent placement that is in the child’s best interest can be developed, e.g., either placement with biological parent(s), relatives or an adoptive family.

At the Florida Baptist Children’s Homes we believe that Jesus Christ is Lord, and we recruit like minded foster families who can demonstrate a Christian lifestyle to our foster children.

Here’s a mission project that gives you an opportunity to be on the mission field right here in our area. Let’s join together for the Glory of God by helping the children and staff at the Southwest Campus of Florida Baptist Children’s Home. In 1992, the Royal Palm Baptist Association saw the need for a Christ centered children’s home in the Southwest Florida area. They did some research, and partnered with Florida Baptist Children’s Homes to “Raise the Roof.” Many of the churches of RPBA sent volunteers to build the home that now sits on the campus of McGregor Baptist Church in Ft. Myers.

Today the Ft. Myers campus is providing care for 8-10 children and their foster care program is caring for over 50 children in 38 homes. With the growing need to provide care for many children, FBCH needs your help to again “Raise the Roof” by helping build a maintenance and storage building.
